Even if you have a regular office cleaning service, there’s no substitute for a deep clean every few months. But it seems that many office workers in the UK are unsure about what they’re supposed to take care of, and what they can leave for the office cleaners.

A survey carried out by AppliancesDirect.co.uk and shared by HR News earlier this month revealed that although 41 per cent of office workers spring cleaned their workspace this year, 44 per cent are confused about what tasks they should be carrying out during an annual spring clean.

But with 43 per cent of those surveyed getting stressed about the cleanliness of their office, it’s clear that businesses need to step up and do a deep clean every now and then.

While individual workspaces should be kept clean and tidy by staff, communal areas are probably best tackled by professional cleaners. One area that can easily be neglected is the floor, which is why bringing in Gerrards Cross carpet cleaning services is a good idea.

They will have the time, know-how and equipment to tackle any stains and get your office carpet looking its best again.

It’s important that any office carpets are regularly vacuumed though, with Business Mole recently noting that a build up of dust can trigger a reaction in those who suffer with allergies.

The website explained that allergens like dust can make an environment uncomfortable for someone who suffers with allergies, adding that regularly vacuuming and deep cleaning is important to keep dust levels under control.
